Wavefront shaping in scattering media and algorithms.

Ph.D. will be offered (guaranteed) within 4 years. Interested candidates can email us for lab visits.

Two Research Fellows (Qualification- Masters) and One Postdoc (Qualification- Masters, Ph.D.) positions are available. Interested candidates may contact us.

Candidates having secured NPDF and PMRF will be given preference.

Special project for IISER Mohali 3rd/4th/5th BS-MS and Int. PhD Students:Photonics based BioPhysics and BioEngineering Lab invites IISER-M BS-MS and Int. PhD students for long term projects on instrument development for immediate application in society: The societal project can be your own designed project or PI can share the idea with you for putting it in action mode.The project can be done any time, any day, particularly you will decide your time for the assigned project. All kinds of support will be provided to you to move it forward meaningful way. This societal project will not only help you to gain new skills but also will open a new dimension in your future career.

All enthusiastic students can come forward and approach us for taking up your/our challenging project and implement it at Bio-Nanophotonics Lab IISER Mohali :

Nurture Projects with CW Laser, Pulse Laser, Ultrasound, machining, optics, optical fiber, 3D printer, RF electronics, FPGA, ADC, DAC, Multi-channel digitizer, Next-generation Microscope, etc.
Source identification in 3D with noisy boundary measurements. Angiography with Light and ultrasound.
Programming language and Machine learning, AI for Field distribution estimation.
Multi-channel DAQ with FPGA for Sonar application.
